Ray Harris was an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society. He went on at least two holidays a year taking at least two cameras with him plus a large number of 35mm films. He followed something of a family tradition as his maternal grandfather, Edward Brightman, was a member of the (Royal) Photographic Society where he exhibited in the years 1877 to 86. In his later years Edward started a photographic business, with his son Walter, in Bristol. ( go back <)
